Privacy Policy

Short version: the invitation editor runs entirely in your browser, and nothing you type into it is ever sent to us or stored anywhere. Here are the details.

Last updated: 20 June 2026

The important bit: Everything you enter into the invitation maker — names, dates, venue, addresses, your message — stays on your own device. It is never uploaded, never logged, and never stored on any server. We literally never see it.

Your invitation content is private

The editor is what is called a client-side application. That means all of the work — building the preview, applying your fonts and colours, and generating the image you download — happens inside your web browser, using your device's own resources. The text you type does not travel across the internet to us, because it does not need to. When you click download, the PNG or JPG is created locally and saved straight to your device.

As a result, we hold no database of invitations and no record of the people you are inviting. If you close the tab without downloading, your design disappears. There is no account, no cloud save, and nothing for us to leak, sell, or hand over — because we never collected it in the first place.

What we do not collect

Cookies and analytics

The site itself does not set tracking cookies for its core function — the editor works whether or not you accept any cookies. We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand broad things like how many people visit and which guides are popular. This kind of data is anonymous and is never tied to the contents of your invitation.

Advertising

This site is free and is supported by advertising provided by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance. This is standard for ad-supported websites and is handled entirely by Google — it is separate from the editor, which remains fully private.

You can control or opt out of personalised advertising at any time:

Third-party resources

To keep the editor lightweight, two resources are loaded from reputable public content-delivery networks: Google Fonts (the typefaces used in the templates) and the open-source html-to-image library (which turns your finished design into a downloadable picture, locally in your browser). Loading these may expose your IP address to those providers, as is normal for any web request, but neither receives the content of your invitation.

Children

This site is intended for adults planning events and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Because the core privacy guarantee — that your invitation content stays on your device — is built into how the tool works, that fundamental promise will not change.
